Many Eyes. This looks quite intriguing. It's produced by IBM and is set up to allow the entire internet to upload data, visualize it, and talk about their discoveries with other people. Anyone can upload data by cutting and pasting from Excel spreadsheets or tab-delimited text files or from various US Government web sites, or indeed anywhere that has useful data.

There are lots of different types of visualisations, such as matrix charts, bar charts, graphs, pie charts, world maps, tag clouds and so on. You can highlight sections of a visualisation, comment on them and so on. This would be a great teaching aid!

It allows you to create a wall, and pop up sticky notes on it, in the form of words, video, links to files, a calendar option and so on. You can leave them public or keep them private. Very like Wallwisher, but I think I prefer this resource.

What is Buzzduit.com?. This is a microblogging platform that's not reached beta yet. Looks like an emphasis on twitter type lists with the added ability to post to specific lists, and search them as well. Nice idea, one twitter may well nick. Not sure where it would leave this one then!

I was going to very quick write Tizmos off, since it's pretty much just a start page with links to a bunch of thumbnail pages. However, the thumbnails are quite large, and I can see how this could actually be a nice way of display a bunch of pages that you want to take people to; a nice training aid in effect.
