Many Eyes

Many Eyes. This looks quite intriguing. It's produced by IBM and is set up to allow the entire internet to upload data, visualize it, and talk about their discoveries with other people. Anyone can upload data by cutting and pasting from Excel spreadsheets or tab-delimited text files or from various US Government web sites, or indeed anywhere that has useful data.

There are lots of different types of visualisations, such as matrix charts, bar charts, graphs, pie charts, world maps, tag clouds and so on. You can highlight sections of a visualisation, comment on them and so on. This would be a great teaching aid!
