Like Button. RIght, the idea behind this is that you should be able to see what your friends on places like Facebook are liking or sharing. So far, so good, but this site takes me to www.likebutton.me, and not to Facebook, but it still has my details, in that it knows who my friends are.

Now, as far as I'm concerned, I've got my Facebook profile as locked down as I can get it. I don't have anything more public than I can, and everything when possible is friends only. 'Like Button' say it has 'no access to your personal information'. Sorry, but a listing of my friends IS my personal information. I'm so not happy about this, and I really want to know how it's accessing that data so that I can stop it, or use this as as example of how Facebook is just doing what it feels like.

Block Internet advertising without a browser plugin. Very simple and effective. Type in a URL and get a link via their site to the appropriate page, which is then (probably) advert free. Great if you want to link to resources that sometimes do the scantily clad women dating agency thing, but the content is otherwise great. Doesn't work 100% (Pageflakes just didn't load anything for example), but certainly worth trying.

Search, sing and share at cantanding.com. It basically grabs stuff from YouTube, and puts in the lyrics below. Neatly done, but doesn't strip out the original singer, so at best you're going to be singing in collaboration. Not exactly Karaoke.
