Get Advice from Women on Dating, Relationship, Love. You know all the questions and answers sites? This is one of those. If you're a bloke, you pay $2 to ask a question and a woman answers and she gets $1. (Nothing rude, lewd or... y'know.) Fine and dandy, but I can't see any way that they have to make sure it really IS a woman answering. Strange, but if you want to earn up to $25 a day (the limit you can answer), this may be an approach worth considering.

Fast & Easy Unfollowing for Twitter

ManageFlitter. It's not bad and seems to be pretty accurate. It tells you how many people you follow don't follow you back, those who lack a profile image, inactive, talkative (more than 5 tweets a day), quiet, all followers and you can do a biography search as well. It also tells you how many people have stopped following you using the service.

AnswerGarden

This is a very nice tool. You ask a question by creating your AnswerGarden, with the intention of having really short responses, which are then automatically turned into a word cloud. Great for brainstorming, getting quick ideas, new names and so on. Super for schools and training sessions. I've done one quick example - do give it a go. It's a little like Wallwisher, but with a twist. My main gripe is that you're limited to 20 characters, which isn't great. Perhaps that'll change; I hope so!

IMO is a web instant messenger that helps you IM, voice chat, and video conference using multiple instant messaging protocols. Imo is free and requires no sign up.

Mabzy Check in sites gone mad

OK, we get the Foursquare idea of checking into places, and there's social value in doing that, plus deals, offers and wotnot, but there's a limit, surely? And that limit is reached with Mabzy which allows you to check into specific websites! Unfortunately I don't have a 'scraping the bottom of the barrel' category.....

Add text and captions to your pictures. Roflbot is for adding text to a picture, a.k.a. an image macro generator. You can do it all in your browser without using Photoshop.

ud.com namecheck

Check Availability of Social Usernames, Domain Names and Trademarks.. This is vaguely interesting - type in a name - yours' your company, a brand, and this will come back and tell you if the name is taken. It tries the top 10 generic domains, country domains, top 10 social networks and brand name trademarks. Very quick and easy. Useful to check if you've got a presence in a bunch of places, and register if you haven't!

Shorten your url's. OK, let's start with http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia_pacific/10463227.stm and shorten it with bit.ly to http://bit.ly/atB0r8 Ignoring the http bit, we have a 13 character URL. Shorten the same link with Crum.bs and we have http://crum.bs/l/av which is 12 characters. So yes, shorter! You can also use a custom extension, such as crum.bs/yourname. You can even password protect your link and limit the amount of clicks to your crum.bs link, though it's not entirely clear to me why you'd want to do that, but still.
