Online Stopwatch is a fun tool - I saw it used in a 'one minute madness' session recently and it was very helpful - nice big numbers, a sound alarm at the end of the time, big, bold and colourful. Good for lessons as well I should think.

I also suggest trying http://ipadstopwatch.com it's a free online stopwatch and countdown timer that also works great on the iPad. I too has a large display with big numbers, it even keeps going after you leave so you don't have to worry about starting over if you accidently close it.
