Website Analysis and Tools This provides you with lots of information on a website of your choice. I ran a report on mine, and this is what it came back with in the summar:

"Philb.com is ranked #127,096 in the world, a low rank means that this website gets lots of visitors. This site is worth $16,639 USD and advertising revenue is $22 USD per day. The average pages load time is 1.076987 seconds. This site has a Pagerank(6/10), it has 33,973 visitors and 37,710 pageviews per day."

However, this site provides more than that - a link checker, domain checker, ping test, speed test, keywords  and so on. It could do with a comparision option, but other than that, it's really useful.

Down Or Just Me. Put in a domain name and see if it's up or not. This is the third of these that I'm aware of, to go with Down for everyone or just me and the delightfully named Titsup.

Panabee

Name Generator for finding nifty names and checking domain availability. Throw it a couple of terms and see what it comes up with. It checks translations, phonetic variations, related terms, tweets, does a Google search. Variations include dropping vowels, spelling the word backwards, doubling the last letter, prepending letters, using alternative endings and so on.

It's a nice, quick and powerful resource, and really gives you something to think about.

Website Value Calculator

Check Site Worth, Revenue Estimates for free. I've seen a fair number of these and this is another. Just type in a URL and get some basic information. I tried mine for example and this is what I got:

Daily Unique Visitors: 7,350

Daily Pageviews: 14,280

Daily Ad Earnings: $19.99

Estimated Worth: $20,873.8

This pretty much matches other similar resources, so if you want to do a little exploring of a site, or you have one and are curious, give this a go.

Domain information, whois & dns report. Straightforward resource, does what you'd expect - you can search for details on domain names, IP addresses and AS numbers. It provides you with those details, Alexa ranking, Back links, indexed pages and Gogle page rank. It also tells you if it uses Analytics and provides a report from the WHOIS database. Does what it says on the tin.

ud.com namecheck

Check Availability of Social Usernames, Domain Names and Trademarks.. This is vaguely interesting - type in a name - yours' your company, a brand, and this will come back and tell you if the name is taken. It tries the top 10 generic domains, country domains, top 10 social networks and brand name trademarks. Very quick and easy. Useful to check if you've got a presence in a bunch of places, and register if you haven't!

Scan Websites for Viruses

URLVoid.com. Give it a URL and it will check with twenty different resources to see if a site can be trusted or not. Good idea, works nice and easily.

WebDigr

Free Website Data, Made Simple. Works reasonably well. Type in the URL and get an indication of the word rank (mine is 103,166 apparently), estimated value, daily income, daily unique visitors, Alex rank, Pagerank and so on. It seems to tally with other similar sites that I've played with.

Netirk

Check if a website is down for everyone or just for you. This is the third of these that I've found - just type in a URL and it will check to see if it can reach it. Of course, if *it* can't reach it, maybe it just means it's out of luck, not that it's entirely down. So also check with Titsup.net and Downforeveryoneorjustme.com
