Zimbio - Squidoo lookalike

Link: Zimbio - The People's Guide to the Web. This is the first of what I confidently expect will be a number of Squidoo look alikes. It's actuall not at all bad. Basically it allows users to create portals for particular subjects close to their hearts. It has the usual things that I'd expect to find - links, blog, feeds, photo albums, news search tracker and so on. One of the major differences is the lack of Google Ads, and this is both an advantage and disadvantage; how are they going to make money? On the other hand, if a corporate wants to link to a Squidoo lens they may be put off by the advertising being out of their control, so Zimbio may well be a good alternative solution. However, given that I've already put time into creating a number of Squidoo lenses, I think I'll stay put.
