I want to - a page of utilities that help you do stuff you want to Web 2.0 applications

Link: I want to - Web 2.0 applications This is a section of my site that I've had active for some time now, and I periodically go through and add new resources - often, but not always Web 2.0 utilities. It's not designed to be a comprehensive list, but it's designed to point you in the direction of utilities that will help you do what you want to. It now lists over 440 different resources arranged in sections such as:

There is also the companion 'I want to' weblog to keep you up to date of things I'm adding. If you've not taken a look at the resource before, do stop by and poke around.

Comments

Hey Phil, thanks for all the links!

A very nice list indeed. I'll have to go through and check them out when I have a bit more time.

A couple Library specific calendar and related solutions you might want to consider adding to your list(s):

e*vanced solutions, www.evancedsolutions.com (calendars, online sign-up, emails reminders and notices, feeds, statistics, reports, meeting rooms, summer reading management);;

EventKeeper www.eventkeeper.com (calendars, feeds, meeting rooms, museum passes);;

Library Insight (calendars, online signup, meeting rooms, museum passes, summer reading);;

EngagedPatrons.org (calendars, blogs, feeds)

Most of these are commercial offerings but are inexpensive especially for smaller libraries. All are offering Web2.0 types of ideas and services.
