One of the things that I'm often asked is 'how do you keep up to date?' and I know that it's an issue for a lot of people. One of the applications that I use is FeedHub which is a resource that learns what interests me and gives me a personalised news feed. I simply gave it my OPML file (my list of RSS feeds) and it analyzed them. Next it delivers (as a new feed) items, news, blog posts etc that it thinks will be of particular interest to me. I can then 'vote' on the posts to let the system know if I like what it's sent me. It learns what interests me and then dynamically changes over time.
It's a great little resource and most of all, it's free. So if you're feeling a little overwhelmed, give it a go!

Aha! I've often wondered how bloggers get hold of up to the minute information; my blogging tends to be quite reactive, dependent on what other people are writing about, so it would be nice to be first to something for a change! I'm currently using Google alerts but I'll definitely be looking at FeedHub now. Thanks for the tip!

Phil,
Thanks for the kind words about FeedHub!
I'm one of the company's founders and would love any feedback you have on how we can improve it. You should have my email from this comment, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Have a great weekend,
~ Sean
