Accoona re-emerges?

A while ago I noted that Accoona business search engine  had closed its doors. I've now been told that it's been transferred to Masterseek B2B. It looks the same, down to the logo. Unfortunately it seems that it's only the business search element that is being used - I was always a bit of a fan of the news and supertargetting options myself. You can search almost 50 million company profiles, though not in any detail - you just get a link to the website, which seems rather pointless. However, we are promised a version 2 in a couple of weeks, so I look forward to hopefully being able to give it a positive review then.

It looks as though this is the same Masterseek I reviewed at http://www.rba.co.uk/wordpress/2008/09/23/masterseek-business-directory/

Still totally dire in terms of quality and not interested in correcting major errors, for example links to web sites that are in no way related to the company that is in the results list.

Avoid anything to do with Accoona like the plague.
