Twitter has produced a new widget, which allows you to embed material into a blog or a webpage. Nothing particularly new or exciting in that, but what they've done is draw all the options together in one place, so we've got the option for tweets from a person or a search query for example. There are options for choosing size and style, and you can also choose a filtering system to (hopefully) block out any profanity. The widget is very easy to use, but rather hidden. Log into your Twitter account, choose 'settings' and then 'widgets'. It's all self explanatory. I've chosen to create a widget for the CILIP 'Big Day' held last week, and you can see a screenshot below. You can have lots of widgets, and can manage them from the same widget option.
