Makes it pretty pointless trying to block sites at all, then? Excellent.

Great article Phil; many of those who want to access many of the sites mentioned (example domestic violence) simply give up and retreat into their nightmare still further. Agency workers and the like spend hours researching sites suitable for clients only to find within a moments notice that they are 'unavailable' - The flip side to this is horrifyingly simple, as one site is closed another is opened 'self harming' 'suicide' sites get past all the best 'blocks' because those accessing them are canny enough to seek and find.
