The problem of fake news and disinformation is definitely having an impact as are the filter bubbles there's a good article about it here https://techcrunch.com/2016/11/09/rigged/ and one here regarding the impact on US election http://www.niemanlab.org/2016/11/the-forces-that-drove-this-elections-media-failure-are-likely-to-get-worse/.
Besides better information literacy /education. What do you think is a solution? Facebook claims it's not a media company but it is responsible for aggregating fake News, should we pressure it and other social media platforms to do more. Should they be responsible for removing or warning about fake news/disinformation?
