I used to like Songza which let me create folders of music to listen to. Of course, when I discovered Spotify it went out the window, and I didn't go back. I thought they'd have problems, because they were pulling music data off YouTube, and YouTube doesn't like that. Hence the details in the email that I got today: "Regarding the original Songza, we are currently unable to use YouTube's
API, which allows you to search for and play any song on demand, but we
want to assure you we are doing everything we can to resolve this issue
and to have Songza back up and running asap. We will of course let you
know as soon as there are any new developments with Songza and
apologize for this inconvenience."
However, all is not lost - they have released two new free music streaming sites - Songza Radio and Songza sets. I would offer to give you the links, as they provided them to me in their email. Unfortunately, they don't work, as they just lead back to the main site which says nothing at all of any help. And besides - it's 'Available in the US only'.
Utterly pointless. Go away, close the company down and listen to Spotify instead, try out Spotiseek to find similar music to artists you like.
