I found a really nice post on different file storage apps, which I have shamelessly stolen, but if you'd like to visit the original it's here. I've deleted sites that no longer exist, added some from the comments field as well, and added in a tad more detail.
File Storage apps
4Shared. Free, 10GB of space
ADrive. Free: 50GB. Yes - FIFTY GB.
FileFactory. Upload up to 50 files of any type, up to 2000MB each. Free and commercial plans
Keep and Share. Free, but commercial plans available. No indication as to space.
True Share. Commercial, no indication as to space size.
Pando. Download product
Fileden. 1GB of personal storage space. 100mb maximum file size limit. 5GB monthly data allowance
FileSavr. Free: 2GB
Flipdrive. 1GB for free, more with commercial accounts.
Snapdrive. Free Accounts include 5GB of space! Upload files via your mobile phone through Snapit.mobi
GigaSize. Free: Max size 300 MB, 10 files max
Idrive. 5 GB free space, main use is as a backup system.
DropBox. We all know about this one don't we? The big daddy of them all.
EasyShare. "Upload as many files as you like."
LiveDrive. Online backup for a fiver a month. No free option as far as I could see.
MegaUpload. Free: 200GB, Expiry after 2 years. Upload 2GB a day.
Myotherdrive. Free: 2GB
Spideroak. Free: 2GB
Wuala. Download product. Free: 1GB. Commercial plans available.
File sharing apps.
Axifile. Free: 2GB
Bonpoo! Free: File up to 250MB, up to 20 recipients. No music or movie files.
Box.net. Free: 5GB. Commercial offers more.
CloudSafe. Free, but not clear on limitations without registration.
DivShare. Don't seem to want to tell us what the limitations are.
Filedropper. 5GB a file. 30 day limit unless files continually being downloaded.
Freedrive. Free 1GB
RapidShare. No idea on sizes. They don't seem to be interested in telling us.
Streamfile. This is more of a temp. sharing site, allowing you to email a contact so that they can collect a file. 150MB, auto destruct after 24 hours.
SendSpace. Up to 300 Mb in size.
Sendthisfile. Free: Large transfers are slower than paid plans. Up to 2GB files. Expires in 3 days. 3 downloads allowed.
Sharebigfile. Free: Max 50MB
Uploading. Free: 1GB file size.
MediaFire. Free: 200MB / file max
Wikisend. Maximum allowed file size is 100MB
Yousendit. Free: 2GB files. My favourite. Commercial version available.
ZippyShare. Free. 200MB file size max.
But do they have automatic data backup? In One Account, I am backing up data from multiple PCs (Personal Computer / Laptop) through SOS Online Backup

You might check out some of the apps at http://FreeTwitterUpgrade.com as there are quite a few revenue-bearing apps, free and premium. -TM
