As the website at Grammarcheck says of itself: "A grammar check tool can come in handy for anyone. Like many, you probably learned many of the grammar rules all throughout your school years. Also, like many, you’ve likely forgotten much of what you learned. Where does the comma go, for instance? Is ending your sentences with a proposition really that bad a practice? Are there hard and fast rules for when to use who, that or which? All of these questions, as well as many more, can plague both amateur and professional writers. Doing a grammar and spell check, all online, helps to settle these questions and give you more confidence in your writing."
It's a basic cut and paste job - write what you want to check, paste it in and it'll do the rest for you. I tried it with both British and American grammar and spelling, and it coped just fine.
Check out proofreadbot.com as well! It works fine and does all kinds of analsis.

You can also try grammarbase.com - it is a free grammar checking tool. This service also provides help for those who suffer from dyslexia.

You can also try grammartool.com. It can underline and highlight some problems. I would just run it though all the free ones.

You can also try afterthedeadline.com/ and grammartool.com/. I would recommend feeding stuff through every free grammar checker you can find -- because they each find different mistakes.
