I mentioned the other day that David Miliband Minister of Communities and Local Government was blogging, and I think it's a great idea. Apparently however his weblog has cost six *thousand two hundred* pounds. £200 for the proprietary software and the remainder to integrate it into the rest of the website. That is one heck of a lot of money, and I'd love to see some justification for it.

And it even comes with an extensive "terms and conditions" at the bottom -- that's something I don't think I've seen before.
