Link: Geograph British Isles - photograph every grid square!. This is an interesting project. Essentially the British Isles has been broken up into small grids and people are being encouraged to take photographs of whatever they see in specific grids, such as buildings, roads, other significant features and so on. There is a search option (which works every now and then) and you can scroll around the map, looking at images. It's an interesting idea, sponsored by the Ordnance Survey.
A grid is 1km squared and 202,108 images have so far been submitted for GB. It's difficult to find exactly where a location is by using the images map, and the response time is slow, and quite often blocked. However, it's worth taking a peek. Maybe worth putting a picture of your library on there?
