Question for the trainers out there

I've been asked a very interesting question, and have no idea on an answer. Consequently, I'm asking all of you if you've got any ideas. A public librarian is running training courses for members of the public, and includes a section on buying online. He has been asked if there are any resources that allow searchers to 'practice' buying products, without having to give their own credit card details and so on, just to get an idea of how to do it.

Is anyone aware of any adult learning sites that might do this? Or any shopping sites that allow users to take a 'dummy run' at it? I'd be grateful for any suggestions on this one!
