I don't often do 'personal' posts on the weblog, but I'm pleased with this one - I've now been smoke free for an entire year. This is the longest time that I've not smoked since I started back in whenever it was. Which means.... I've not smoked over 9,000 cigarettes in the last year, and have saved roughly £1,825 over the course of the year. Nifty!
That really is a stunning achievement. I, as a smoker, can truly appreciate it. Congratulations! Must be lovely not to have to huddle in the cold to get your fix :) Of course, I look so bloody elegant...

Many congratulations on this accomplishment. I can think of some colleagues who could learn from your example.

Well done, Phil! It's the toughest addiction to quit. I've also been smoke-free since May 18 2006, just before my triple by-pass (a very good incentive to quit).
