Scotland. (CILIPS). it's really interesting to see how library groups are using Twitter. Follow the link to see the kind of thing that they're talking about.
Unfortunately I don't think they're set up to be able to see comments from people they're not following - I replied to ask a question last Friday about the setup of the survey they're publicising, but haven't got a reply.
Looks like I'll have to resort to email, or DMing!

Hi Phil - Turns out a lot of libraries are starting to embrace Twitter and mobile messaging in general.
We just launched a new service called Text A Librarian (textalibrarian.com) that lets libraries get their own mobile short code and setup virtual mobile Q&A reference desks. Users can send questions via SMS, email, and can even interact via Twitter.
