Hittery is a very frustrating resource, because it so almost has got it right. Essentially it's a resource that allows users to select a number of different custom search engines such as 'health' and 'reference' and list them all on a single page. It's also possible to move them around into a sensible order as well. That's all great and certainly nice, but think how much better if you could add your own custom search engines and then display them on a single page that you could make available to others! Now that would make this a useful resource.
My other gripe with this resource is that it's happy to tell us that "Health" only searches through 75 trusted medical websites, but it doesn't tell us which ones. That really would be helpful.
Thanks to the ever useful AltSearchEngines for the headsup on this one.

I would certainly compare it to http://www.sputtr.com and then http://www.symbaloo.com
