Twisearch - Find stuff that matters to you. Well, perhaps. Interesting new take on search and Twitter. Twisearch makes the assumption that if it can learn what you're interested in from your recent tweets it's going to be able to find more accurate material from you via the web.
What 'latest' twitter status updates means is open to interpretation, and they're not saying. Consequently, if I've been tweeting about a conference or a football match my tweets are going to be particularly biased at that period of time, making any search based on my tweets pretty pointless.
I tried it myself with a few searches and wasn't very impressed at all. I also had to provide password details. Quite frankly I'd really like to know why, since the service should just be able to pull out details of tweets based on my profile. It would also be much more useful - I might want to see what a particular individual would get based on their tweets; it would be really interesting to see the difference in results from two CEOs for example. But no, that's not possible.
I wasn't impressed with the results this thing gave me, and while it's an interesting concept they've still got a long way to go before it's of any particular value.
