Free Pictures of Everything on Earth. Nice although small (less than 600K of photographs) collection of free images - free as in available in the public domain or Creative Commons work. The focus is on places, and it's well set out and easy to use by keyword or map location. They are adding images at the rate of about 8k per day, so it's coming along.
