I was in two minds about reviewing this adult search engine which calls itself Search.xxx - The sex engine™ but I figured that it's a search engine first and foremost, and I'm not going to try and judge the content myself - I'll leave that up to all of you. If you want to take a look at it you will, and if you're not interested, you won't.
The subject matter is rather obvious, given the name of the engine. It simply searches websites that use the .xxx top level domain, and they have been certified as safe by McAfee, which has scanned them all. There are no options for the type of search - it just returns webpages, so you're not going to be limiting a search to images or video clips, although you may well find that's what gets returned. The results are fairly straightforward, with title, URL and summary. However, the summary information isn't very helpful at all, and in many instances appears to be just a series of subject headings, this being one of the cleaner examples that I saw: "Bosoms.xxx. Join; Premium Login; Bookmark. Home; Videos; Categories; Pornstars; Live Sex; Get Laid; Premium"
The engine does provide a series of categories down the left hand side of the screen, offering a variety of ah, 'delights', and you don't need me to tell you what they are. I did try and look at a couple of sites (honest, I swear, it was just for research!) but they all seemed to be pay sites, and despite the reference to McAfee scans, I wasn't comfortable looking any further (for a variety of reasons!) The search engine allows you to change themes (either light or dark backgrounds), you can limit by language, and you can also choose orientation. For a moment I thought that meant landscape or portait, but clicking through showed my innocence once more - you can choose from all, straight or gay.
That's about the limit of my interest in the engine really. It's there if you're interested in that sort of material, but I really wouldn't advise looking during work time. It's very strictly NSFW material.
Interesting but I think adult material should have their search engine so Internet could be safe for children.
